From the beginning, Fiat always had the ambition to build an affordable car, accessible to all the Italian people. By then, the brand was also intending to compete with the French and German’s already very successful in the mass market.
This model was revealed for the first time at the Brussels show in 1956. 170 000 copies have followed between 1956 and 1969. This car was exclusively built by Fiat Italian constructor firms. This family-type car, model directly inspired from the Fiat 600 but extended to carry 6 persons, is today considered as the predecessor of the passenger van and cross over vehicle. This model, instantly recognizable, practical and very likable became the symbol of the Italian economic boom in the 60’s.
This car has got its original color: blue and ivory. The interior is in a matching blue leather with grey piping. All the instruments on the dashboard and the steering wheel are in an ivory color. The odometer of the car shows a very low milage and the engine is in a perfect condition. The seats can be folded to offer an optimized cargo space.
